Work just a 5 or 6 hour shift
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes Domestic United States and International mail implicitly following all sorting procedures.
  • Ensures mail is correctly sorted, clearly printed and labels correctly placed ;
  • Makes boxes for outbound sorting, packing and DN;
  • Maintains supply storage such as postal tubs and skids;
  • Loads scrap trailer; Loads and unloads trucks;
  • Assists Receiving Department as needed; assists housekeeping as needed;
  • Manifests postage statements for standard mail for DN/Blue Bags and single piece mail, 1st Class & Priority
  • Sets up for Outbound, Receiving, DN and any additional production floor departments.
    HOURS
    PT Mail Sorters 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
    PT Mail Sorters 11:00 pm to 8:00 am
    PT Tubbers/Loaders 4:00 am to 9am
    PT Tubbers/Loaders 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

    You need to CARE, because, it's not JUST mail to us!
    You need to be able to sort alphabetically and numerically
    You need basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
    You need a high school education or GED
    You need to be able to reach and lift up to 50 pounds and maybe more weight with assistance
    You need to be able to stand for hours at a time
